Rep. Chris Corry discusses foster care reform in Washington state

Rep. Chris Corry, R-Yakima, is working to ensure Washington state becomes a model for foster care support for families. In this video, the 14th District lawmaker talks with Shannon Love, president of Fostering Change Washington, about improving the lives of children and families involved in foster care.

During the upcoming 2020 session, Corry plans to propose legislation that would lessen the complexities of transferring custody to non-family guardians and create a higher level of support in custody proceedings.
