Reps. Gina Mosbrucker and Chris Corry invite citizen calls during 14th District telephone town hall
Reps. Gina Mosbrucker and Chris Corry are inviting 14th District citizens to pick up the phone and call them during a telephone town hall on Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
“This is a short 60-day session. Soon, we will be voting on hundreds of bills that could impact our district. It's important for us to know before we press the voting button what the people back home think. We encourage everyone across the 14th District to join us in a community telephone conversation from the comfort of their homes,” said Mosbrucker, R-Goldendale.
“Telephone town halls give us the chance to hear directly from folks at home about what matters the most to them,” said Corry, R-Yakima. “That kind of direct feedback is invaluable. We also get to update people in the 14th District on bills and other events at the state Capitol. I'm looking forward to sharing and discussing that information.”
Similar to a call-in radio talk program, listeners are invited to call (509) 408-2384 on Feb. 4 between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. They can listen to the program and press * (the star key) on their telephone keypad if they have a question for the 14th District lawmakers.
