Rep. Corry, R-Yakima, talks with KVI’s Ari Hoffman about reforming the governor’s emergency powers. Corry has proposed a bill that would rein-in some of the governor’s authority during a state of emergency and give the Legislature more of voice during extended emergencies, like the COVID pandemic.
