Rep. Corry discusses emergency powers reform and a bill allowing costly L&I regulations
Rep. Chris Corry, R-Yakima, joins KIHR to discuss an emergency powers reform bill making its way to the House from the Senate. Rep. Corry tells host Mark Bailey this bill would not increase legislative involvement in emergency powers as much as House Bill 1772, which he proposed, but he hopes to get a veto-proof majority by working with Democrats. Corry also addressed a bill that would allow the state to dictate costly ergonomic requirements for businesses.
