Rep. Corry raises alarm on KIT Radio over Democrat tax plans in 2026 session
House Republican Deputy Leader Rep. Chris Corry, R-Yakima, joined the morning crew on Yakima’s KIT Radio to discuss the start of the 2026 legislative session in Olympia and his concerns about the direction Democrats are taking on taxes and spending.
Corry warned that proposals labeled as a “millionaires’ income tax” and new revenue measures could ultimately hit small businesses and working families, while Democrats continue to avoid meaningful spending restraint and budget reform.
