Due to election-year restrictions, this email update will be my last to you until later this fall. But that doesn’t mean you can’t reach out to me. I am still your Representative in Olympia. If you have a question or concern about state government, or ideas about how we can Fix Washington, please reach out to my office. We’re here to help!
Also, my seatmate, Rep. Jeremie Dufault, and I recently sent out a 2026 session review mailer. If you didn’t get one yet, or if you want to view a digital copy, you can do so on my website here. You can learn more about our state budget, taxes, the initiatives to the Legislature, important community projects, and more.
And finally, the new income tax enacted by Democrats this past session is getting a lot of attention, and rightly so. But there is also a lot of misinformation, bad assumptions, and just plain wrong “hot takes” being thrown around. To try and bring some clarity to Washington’s state income tax debate, we’ve put together a “Breaking Down the Income Tax” page that you might find interesting.
In addition, if you need a speaker for your civic, community, or church group, please let me know. I’d be happy to give a session update and discuss the critical issues we dealt with this year.
Thank you for the opportunity and privilege of serving you in the state House!

Sincerely,

Chris Corry
